9 Easy Steps


1.  **Before inviting a prospective member to a program meeting, submit a description (resume)of the prospective member ís job duties in writing to the Membership Chair for verification of eligibility/classification.

2.  Receive written response from the Membership Chair as to eligibility/classification.The classification for the prospect will be held open for 4 months.

3.  **After eligibility/classification is approved in writing from the Membership Chair,invite the proposed member to a program meeting,third Thursday of the month.Introduce to the club by name,employer and job title.

4.  **Invite the proposed member to a second program meeting. Introduce to the club by name,employer and job title.

5.  **Complete ìRecommendation for Membership î form,,including the signature of two sponsors,and submit to Membership Chair.

6.  The Membership Committee meets to review the application and makes a recommendation to the Second Vice President/Membership Liaison.

7.  The Second Vice President/Membership Liaison brings the prospective member ís name to the next Board Meeting.The
President brings the prospective member ís name to the club at the next business meeting.Club members have 5 business days to file written responses.

8.  If there are no objections,membership is extended and the President notifies the treasurer.A letter of invitation and an
invoice to the new member will be sent with a copy to the sponsor.If there are no objections,the Board votes.If the
membership is not extended,the President notifies the sponsor and Membership Chair prior to the next business meeting.

9.  Dues are received and the new member is scheduled for orientation and initiation.The new member begins attending all meetings and is immediately assigned to one of her sponsor ís committees.
